5 Ways to Wear Floral Prints
Spring is approaching, which means flowers are going to be popping up outside and in fashion. If you're afraid to wear floral print, don't be! When you wear it the right way, it makes all the difference. Whatever your style is, there's floral print clothing and accessories that can fit well into your wardrobe.
Floral print tops are sexy and ladylike all at the same time and there are a variety of styles to choose from whether you prefer button downs or tanks. A great way to wear a floral print top is with a pair of jeans, hoop earrings or studs, and neutral-colored shoes. If you want to wear an outfit that can easily go from day-to-night, pair the top with black trousers, black heels and a cream cardigan.
There are so many things to love about a maxi dress: it looks fabulous on almost everyone, they're comfortable, and they tend to hide what you don't want showing and allow you to flaunt what you do. Even if you don't want your arms exposed, throw on a cardigan or a cropped leather jacket.
All the short skirts come out of hiding in spring, so feel free to show some leg! For a lighter look, pair a floral print skirt with a cream colored top and neutral-colored shoes. When you want an edgier look, go for a black fitted top and black heels. You can also throw on a pair of black tights and black earrings to finish off the outfit.
We all have those days when we just want to live in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and a floral print wrap is an inexpensive way to add a punch of color and style when you really don't feel like making much of an effort. You can look like you spent an hour getting ready when you really spent minutes. Pairing it with a white shirt is ideal so you can choose almost any color and pattern wrap that matches your style and it will all work together perfectly.
When you want to subtly be a bit more daring with your wardrobe, buy a pair of shoes in a different style than you're used to, and what better way to get into spring then to wear a pair of floral print heels. Make the shoes the centerpiece of the outfit (next to you of course!), which means wearing them with toned-down clothing. For a casual look, opt for jeans, a white top and a neutral-colored cardigan. At night, go for black pants, keep the white top and add on a few accessories, such as a black cuff and a chunky black necklace.
Don't be nervous about incorporating floral prints into your wardrobe just because you think it won't work with your style. There are so many different items to choose from that would look fabulous. Make them work for you, not the other way around. If you want to wear them, go for it!
